Andrew Beeghly, current Battalion Surgeon for the 5th Special Forces Group of the US Army and noted fitness enthusiast, harbors a great love of adventure and of the outdoors. Whether it be scaling mountains or plumbing the depths of the ocean, Andrew Beeghly has done it all – and can probably train you how to do it, too. The 33-year-old Andrew Beeghly has several mountaineering certifications, and even climbed Mt. Everest to Camp 2; in addition, he has his certification as a member of the Professional Association of Dive Instructors.

In May 2013 Andrew Beeghly was deployed as part of the 2-506th IN BN 4th BCT 101st ABN (AASLT) in Sabari, Afghanistan; Andrew Beeghly served in that unit as Battalion Surgeon. During his term of service Andrew Beeghly earned nearly a dozen medals and awards; the decorated soldier now practices medicine in Pennsylvania at his own practice a few days a month and currently serves as a Battalion Surgeon for the 5th Special Forces Group of the US Army. When not working, Andrew Beeghly enjoys physical tests of fitness such as the Ironman races; he has competed in several triathlons.
